Cast

Joan of Arc, played by Sarah Coope, is both a talented singer and
actor.
She developed her skills while at Cambridge and has
performed at the National Portrait Gallery in a
Shakespeare medley, is the lead singer with a jazz/acoustic band
and has starred in 'The Hot Mikado' (Katisha),
'Merrily We
Roll Along' (Beth) and 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' (Merteuil).
Sarah enjoyed being
Joan having previously played a number of strong women. "Joan
of Arc is perhaps the ultimate female heroine!"
Francis Forbes-Edwards plays Alencon,
the leading male role.
Classically trained as a
Baritone, Flautist and Pianist, Francis has played lead roles in
several musicals, including 'Fame', 'Cabaret' and 'Crazy
For You'. Since an early age performing has been his passion.
Francis is currently studying for a degree
in Music Technology, and is playing
and recording with bands ranging in style from Jazz-Funk
to Classic Rock.

In 2010
Joan of Arc a musical had a cast of 58 people and a supporting choir of
30. In 2011, as the stage area was smaller, the choir parts were
pre-recorded and the cast numbered 51.
